This car fair is held in the month of November or December for a week and the temple has a great historical significance. Jagan, who started the Raichur Thermal power Station as Divisional engineer in the late 1970s and went on to be the Chief Engineer of RTPS (Raichur Thermal Power Station) until he moved to the KPC headquarters in Bengaluru.
